Specialized treatment for all forms of eating disorders, body image disturbances, compulsive exercise, and obesity.  Treatment is also offered for mood and anxiety disorders, stress management, and other adjustment/ life issues.

According to the National Eating Disorders Association, eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa affect approximately 5 to 10 million girls and women and 1 million boys and men. An even greater number of individuals struggle with binge eating disorder and other types of disordered eating. Additionally, recent research suggests that the rates of eating disorders continue to rise and these potentially fatal diseases are being seen more frequently in preteens and young adolescents. In fact, eating disorders are the third most common chronic illness in adolescent girls. This is particularly disturbing given the fact that anorexia nervosa has among the highest premature mortality rate of any psychiatric disorder. Fortunately, early detection and prompt, appropriate treatment can facilitate healing and result in complete recovery for many sufferers. Even after a chronic course of illness, intensive intervention with a qualified team of professionals can produce favorable results in a motivated person.
