Bridget McCauley, MA, LPC
Bridget McCauley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Eligible National Certified Counselor. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and completed her Master of Arts degree in Counseling at St. Edward’s University.
Bridget provides counseling to individuals of all ages as well as couples, families, and groups. She has extensive training and experience working with people from many different backgrounds, experiences, and psychological issues. She has worked in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization program settings. Her work helping those recovering from eating disorders, body image disturbances, and related problems, led her to develop a specialty interest in the field. In turn, this interest brought Bridget to The Woodlands Eating Disorders Center.
Bridget is also experienced working with individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, relationship problems, and self-esteem issues. Additionally, Bridget has worked with individuals and groups dealing with various crises including: domestic violence, sexual assault, terminal illness, hospitalization, and the loss of loved ones.
With regard to program development and management, Bridget has over ten years of experience with healthcare and nonprofit programs. Her professional affiliations include Austin Eating Disorders Specialists and Texas Counseling Association.
