Kathy L Veath, RD, LD, RN
Kathy Veath is a registered and licensed dietician as well as registered nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Illinois in 1994 followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northern Illinois University in 2002. Kathy has over 13 years of experience in medical nutrition therapy with a specialization in the treatment of eating disorders since 1997. Her experience includes both inpatient and outpatient nutritional counseling. She served as lead dietitian for the Eating Disorders Program at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, Illinois for over five years.
Kathy launched a private nutritional counseling practice in 2002 and then relocated to The Woodlands, Texas, in 2006. She has been working with Dr. Michel since 2007 and is now the owner of Woodlands Nutrition.
Her professional affiliations include the American Dietetic Association, the Texas Dietetic Association., and the Academy for Eating Disorders, all of which assist her in maintaining current clinical and scientific knowledge within the fields of dietetics and eating disorders.
